Vintage Signed and Framed Limited Edition Landscape Print

$48.00

I love this mini framed English scene I picked up from a local Baton Rouge estate. It's a signed limited edition print of an original landscape by artist John Dean, RMS showcasing 'Dales Farm' in Newhouse, England which is part of a nature reserve in the area. Dated 1999 on the reverse.

Overall framed size is 5.5" x 4.75"

'Self-taught artist, John Dean (b.1930), was born and lived in Grassington, North Yorkshire. He was a notable painter of his home area, producing large oils as well as piano key ivory miniatures. He trained as a master butcher, worked in farming and the building trade and was an experienced dry stone waller. Took up painting after leaving the Army in 1950. Dean was a fellow of the British Society of Painters and a member of RMS and SM. Shell Oil and John Ward Textiles hold his work.'

Great vintage condition with expected wear from age and use. The frame has expected signs of wear with some imperfections that add to the character of the piece. This art has not been examined outside of the frame. I do my very best to inspect each piece, note any imperfections I may see, and support my findings with listing photos. But please remember these pieces are vintage or antique and have lived quite a life before you! Each piece is sold 'as is' and all sales are final. If I can answer any questions before purchase, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
